In Bihar, 28 roads of these districts will be upgraded at a cost of about 197 crores, see list


The Union Rural Development Ministry has sanctioned a total of Rs 196.95 crore for the upgradation of 28 roads in the Naxal-affected areas of Bihar. Under this, 163.98 km of road and 1032.74 meter bridge will be constructed in Naxal affected areas of Bihar. Under this scheme, the construction work will be completed by March next year. This information was given by Bihar’s Road Construction Minister Nitin Naveen.

where to build. In this, 14 roads and 5 bridges will be constructed in Aurangabad district, 5 roads and 3 bridges in Jamui district, 8 roads and 5 bridges in Gaya district and one road in Lakhisarai district. Roads will be constructed in Deo, Kutumba and Gaya districts of Aurangabad, Madanpur, Dumaria and Imamganj, Banke Bazar, Barachatti, Barhat and Laxmipur in Jamui.

State Road Construction Minister Nitin Naveen said that these roads will be constructed using waste plastic and new technologies like cement, cement concrete. It will be tested in the state laboratory as per the guidelines of the central government. And for this an MoU will be signed with the Bihar State Government and NRIDA and SRDA.
