Ahan Shetty, son of Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, has recently received the Best Actor Award for ‘Tadap’ at the IIFA Awards. After winning the first prize he talked about Bhatawada. Ahan says that he agrees that he is part of the dynasty. He also talks about the effect of dynasty on his career.
Ahan said, ‘When it comes to dynasty, I accept it. I am the product of lineage. My father is an actor. I always wanted to be an actor and yes it is easy for us. I don’t deny this at all. But at the end of the day everyone has to work hard. You have to work hard to get into this industry. I feel very happy and honored to be a part of this industry. I don’t want to take advantage of this. That’s why I’m working hard right now.
Ahan further told how his parents Suniel Shetty and Mala Shetty reacted on receiving the IIFA award. Talking about this, Ahan said, ‘When I was accepting the award, my father was standing next to me, I could see that he is very emotional and is shedding tears for himself. And even before my name was mentioned, my mother held my hand tightly. My parents were very happy and I hope I am proud of them.
Ahan Shetty has debuted in Bollywood with the film Tadap. Ahan’s performance in this action drama film was highly appreciated, but the film flopped at the box office. The film also stars Tara Sutaria in the lead role. It is directed by Milan Luthria. Ahan had earlier revealed in an interview that he used to eat 11 to 12 meals in a day to gain weight in the film.
