With the construction of this road and bridge, it will take a long time to reach Varanasi from Patna via Bhojpur, Arwal, Rohtas, Sasaram. It will be able to cover this distance in about half the time than before. According to sources, with the construction of Patna-Ara-Sasaram four-lane road, the city of Ara will get freedom from traffic jams. This route will originate from Ara Nagar. In such a situation, to go to Patna from the southern part of the district, one has to go to Patna without passing through the city of Ara.

Also, the distance from Sasaram to Patna will be reduced and time will be saved. At present, it takes 5 to 6 hours to reach Sasaram from Patna. However, after the construction of the bridge and the road, it will take about two and a half to three hours to reach Sasaram from Patna. The road between Sadisopur-Naubatpur in Patna district will start crossing the Son river via Arwal and reach Sahar in Bhojpur. The road from Sahar will pass through the existing Bagar-Garhni road. After this, she will meet the road going to Varanasi after passing through Piro, Hassan Bazar, Vikramganj, Nokha, Sanjauli and beyond Sasaram.
