However, it was the popular comedy show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah that made him a star. Moreover, his character ‘Jethalal Gadha’ has become a household name. And the same was seen when paps addressed Dilip Joshi by his on-screen name when he arrived for the inauguration of Nita Mukes Ambani Sanskriti Kendra.
Nita Ambani hosted the launch party of her cultural centre. Several popular Bollywood, Hollywood and TV celebs attended the inauguration of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center (NMACC) at Jio World Gardens in Mumbai on Friday evening (March 31). Smriti Irani, Dilip Joshi, Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar were some of the TV celebs who graced the event with their presence.
Some eminent personalities including popular television actor Dilip Joshi attended the function. The Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor arrived at the event with his wife Jaimala Joshi. However, it was Dilip Joshi’s response that caught our attention. The shutterbugs addressed him as ‘Jetha Bhai’ instead of calling him by his name, which is his on-screen name, and we found it cute.
For the ceremony, Dileep and his wife Jaimala joined in in black ensembles. The actor wore a black sequin kurta and teamed it with a straight pyjama. While his wife was looking beautiful in a suit set of matching colour. She paired it with a tri-coloured dupatta, minimal makeup and a clutch.
TV celebs arrived in their stylish avatar and impressed everyone. While, Smriti was seen in an all-black shimmer saree look and teamed up with her subtle classy makeup, Disha, on the other hand, kept it simple yet shimmery with her pastel sharara look. She looked gorgeous on the red carpet with husband Rahul Vaidya, who posed in a black and white suit. She grabbed everyone’s attention at the event with her classy avatar.
Dilip Joshi arrived with his wife at Nita Ambani’s event. Both matched black color outfits but kept it simple yet elegant. They looked amazing as they posed for paps together. TV serial producer Ekta Kapoor attended the event with her family. She was seen in a yellow colored Anarkali dress.
Apart from being a versatile actor, Dilip Joshi is loving father. And he proved the same when his daughter Niyati married the love of her life. Dilip rocked the daughter’s sangeet ceremony. On December 11, 2021, popular musician Naitik Nagda took to his Instagram handle to post a series of photographs of him performing at Dilip Joshi’s daughter Niyati Joshi’s sangeet.
