Bike maker Roeto Electric has decided to set up its unit in Bihar’s Katihar district as part of its investment promotion policy. Let me tell you, it started with Bhoomi Pujan. Bike maker CEO Sandeep Ratlam and MP Dulal Chandra Goswami jointly launched Roto Electric’s new electric bike in the hall of a private hotel in Katihar district.
The company’s CEO Sandeep Pradhan said that under the investment promotion policy of the Bihar government, it has been decided to set up a second plant after Haryana at Kolasi in Koda block of Katihar district, which will assemble and manufacture electric bikes. However, it will also generate employment for unemployed youth in Katihar and adjoining districts.
He added that the company is currently launching 3 models of the bike to reduce the carbon footprint and grow the world of NetZero. During this, MP Dulalchand Goswami, who was present on the occasion, said that the Center and the State Government of Bihar have always been urged to make the country pollution free and clean as well as get rid of diesel and petrol. Also Katihar district is on the path of progress and in near future all the sides will be connected with quadrilateral.
