Shailesh Lodha had given an interview in the past, in which he accused Asit Modi that even after 6 months of leaving the show, he had not received the dues.

It has been almost 1 year since Shailesh Lodha left the show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. However, till now the actor has not received his due money, for which Shailesh has now appreciated the law. According to a report published in Hindustan Times, Shailesh Lodha has filed a case against Asit Modi and his production company. Shailesh Lodha has started a corporate insolvency resolution drive under Section 9 by approaching the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT). If the report is to be believed then there will be a hearing in this matter in May.

On the other hand, when Shailesh Lodha was talked about in this matter, the actor refused to say anything. “The matter is sub judice and in court, so I will not comment anything on it,” he added. In this regard, the project head of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah said, “There is not much to say that has not been said before. Shailesh Lodha has been like a family. We paid our respects when he left. And on several occasions through email and telephone we have requested them to come to the office to sign all the necessary paperwork and then pick up their outstanding money. We have never refused to pay them.”
