Famous costume designer Akbar Shahpurwala, who was close to the Bachchan family, has passed away. Actor Abhishek Bachchan has shared a post on Instagram in which he has told about this tragic incident in the caption. The family is deeply saddened by the passing away of Akbar Shahpurwala. Junior Bachchan told in the caption of the Instagram post that Akbar had sewn many suits of his father.

Not only this, Abhishek Bachchan told that he has kept the first suit that Akbar made for him till now. Junior Bachchan wrote – Film industry veteran Akbar Shahpurwala is no more with us. He had made many costumes of his father and as far as I remember my films too. I used to call him Akki Uncle. When I was stepping into films, he himself cut and stitched my first suit. I wore his suit at the premiere of Refugee.

Akbar was very close to the Bachchan family

Abhishek further wrote that, ‘He always used to say that cutting and sewing suits is not just tailoring but it is a feeling. When you wear my suit every single thread of it is woven with love. He further wrote that for me Akbar Shahpurwala was the best suit maker in the world. Tonight I will wear your stitched suit and feel blessed. God rest your soul’. The entire Bachchan family is saddened and missing out on the sudden demise of their costume designer.

Talking about Abhishek and Aishwarya, these days the former Miss World appeared with her daughter and husband at the Cannes Film Festival. So far Aishwarya’s red carpet look has been well received and fans have praised her look. Apart from this, recently famous filmmaker Karan Johar had given a tremendous party for his 50th birthday in which both Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan reached. Although some users did not like Aishwarya’s dressing sense due to which they started trolling her, but many fans liked Aishwarya’s unique style.
