Work on 24 km long Patna-Koilwar elevated road will start this year, know which districts will benefit

However, the road construction agency will be selected through tender in July. The central government has sanctioned about Rs 4,000 crore for this road. The construction of this road will directly benefit the commuters of Patna, Rohtas, Bhojpur, Kaimur, Arwal, Buxar and Aurangabad.

According to sources, earlier there was a plan to build a 20-km-long elevated road between Danapur and Bihta. But then the central government had approved an elevated road of about 4 km between Behta and Koilwar. It is near Behta airport. Now after the construction of the new road, it will be connected with four lane Koilwar-Bhojpur and Bhojpur-Buxar roads.

At the same time, traffic has been restored from the six-lane bridge of Koilwar on the Son river. likely to go.

At the same time, the DPR for construction of four lane road from Buxar to Hydaria will be ready by December 2022. Please tell that this road will be connected to Purvanchal Expressway. Thus, in about 3 years, the Patna-Koilwar elevated route will be a better way to take the Purvanchal Express to reach Delhi directly. However, there is a plan to connect the Ara Ring Road to this road as well. A 21 km long road will be constructed at a cost of about Rs 381 crore.
